Sat Jun 02 2018 20:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
And….. they're back again!
In just over a month since their last benefit concert, 88Keys to Cure, an Illinois not-for-profit organization founded by students of the Sueanne Metz Piano Studio, returns with the final installments of their three-part festival. This time, the organization is supporting the New Surgical Innovation and Training Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago and proceeds will be donated towards funding for additional research and resident training.
The first concert on June 2 at 3:00pm will feature an afternoon filled with works by Bach, Chopin, Liszt and more, performed by award-winning musicians from the Chicagoland area. Guest performances will include Dr. Pier Cristoforo Giulianotti, a pioneer and world-renowned surgeon in the field of robotic-assisted surgery, and Adam Chlastawa, a teacher and award-winning concert pianist from Wisconsin. The event will take place at the Moss Auditorium located on 909 S. Wolcott Ave.
It will be followed by their last concert of the festival on June 3rd at 3:00pm which will take place at the Grand Piano Haus located on 3640 S. Dempster Street in Skokie, IL.
Admission for both concerts is FREE and donations are greatly appreciated! There will be receptions to follow both events and they warmly welcome you to join them.
