Monster Education Foundation (MEF) is a not-for-profit organization that seeks, identifies, and supports students in Chicago's underserved urban communities.  This organization provides these young scholars with the opportunity to pursue a higher education and make a lasting impact in their community.

Upon acceptance into MEF's Monster Scholar Program, each student is awarded a Bright Start Illinois college education fund. MEF Sponsors contribute to the funds every year until the scholar graduates from high school.

"The problem we at Monster Education Foundation is trying to solve is the lack of positive role models for our inner city youth. We are trying to cross culturally build those avenues of connection between [under-resourced] neighborhoods and caring adults who want to help make a positive impact. There are so many negative influences ---- we know... but we want to be the catalyst to spread good leadership, through our youth."

- Jennifer Chang, president of Monster Education Foundation
